Your web server accounts have been set up for Spring 2009 semester. Because of security concerns, we will be using an off site server, rather than the chevy server that was used in your 263 course.

Everyone's course url will be in the form: uniqueID.profhicks.com where uniqueID is your UM-Flint uniqueID. If you log onto your account right now you should see something like the screen below. (I've created a dummy account for this demo)
I will email you your profhicks account password and one of the first things you will want to do is change your passwords. You can change your passwords using the profhicks control panel. Login to the control panel using the url:
uniqueID.profhicks.com/cpanel of course you will use your umflint unique id here. You will be prompted to enter your password, and here you enter the password I've sent your via email. This step is illustrated below with a demo account I created on profhicks.
You will first be presented with a login in screen as illustrated below (using FireFox browser)
After entering your correct User Name and password, the CPanel screen opens, with a Welcome message. You can choose to view some of the tutorials now or you can view them later if you wish.
After entering a new passwords that meets security restrictions, you should see a screen to verify the change.
